Clarence F. Buckingham Memorial Fountain, one of the largest fountains globally, anchors Grant Park with its 3-level rococo design and pink Georgia marble. Its centerpiece water jet reaches 150 feet, accompanied by hourly light and music shows from early May to mid-October.

The fountain’s bronze seahorses symbolize the four states bordering Lake Michigan, reflecting its role as a tribute to the lake. New movable seating around the fountain invites guests to relax while enjoying views of Chicago’s skyline, the lakefront, and Grant Park’s green spaces.
